Wending trees are natural portals to other planes that take the shape of trees. The portkeys for these portals are different for each one. Several trees are known but it is presumed that there are many more that haven’t been discovered yet. Here are a couple that we know of:

Tree of Bloom

In southwest Akhentour, about half a day’s ride from Old Garrod. Portal to the Feywild. Portkey is the Crank. Can be seen by elves, fey, and creatures with heightened perception.

Tree of Flames

Island in the far southeast of the Avonian map, a couple days off the coast of Deneshae. An enormous tree whose trunk is made of lava and branches and leaves made of fire. Connects to the Plane of Fire. Portkey is a piece of permaice, or ice that does not melt. Permaice can only be found in the Plane of Ice, which is the commingling of the Planes of Air and Water. First discovered by Rogue Wave.

Tree of Gears

Located on Palta Island in Yonavi. Connects to the Outer Plane of Mechanus. It can only be seen with a "contraption"; in other words, you must make a thing that can see it, and then it will be seen. Portkey is the object, which is consumed in transport.

Tree of Ghosts

In Letora on Valwyr is the Tree of Ghosts, which connects with the Deep Ethereal Plane, specifically the Sorting City of Kethelano. It can only be seen if you are dead or undead. Portkey is a part of your body, that you sacrifice to the tree, or it automatically opens if you are a specter. It's a hard one to get to.

Tree of Secrets

In the south of Modur is the Tree of Secrets, which connects to <realm>. The portkey is a secret that you speak to the tree. You are then immediately transported, and the secret you spoke becomes knowledge to everyone who would want to hear it.

Tree of Shadows

In the northeastern section of the White Wood in Phynsia. Portal to the Shadowfell. Portkey is a piece of its bark, which it sheds very rarely. Can only be found by holding a piece of its bark. Currently there are only three known pieces in existence.

Tree of Seas

Northeastern Teveren. Leads to the Astral Sea. It is a tree at the bottom of the Phillips/Red Rake Trench in the Merellian Sea. Portkey is a silver thread.

Tree of Mountains

The ocean near Yonavi. Leads to the Outer Plane of Arcadia. Was once at the peak of a great mountain that existed long ago; is now a lowly tree on a small piece of land where the tip of the mountain protrudes.

Tree of Silver Strings

?? Leads to the Astral Sea. Portkey is a branch (a silver string), which, when attached to a person, causes them to astrally project into the Astral Sea.
