Northern Enclave
The drow name for the Underdark beneath Dorian. The Enclave contains the nations of the four drow houses there: Detersan, Komath, Revolka, and Koren. To the west of the area, among the hills of the Descent, lies Blindwelder Territory, where the dwarves live. The Great Divide, a sprawling canyon, separated House Koren from the other nations.
Various Locations
Balsyoth Peaks
The Peaks are less “mountains” and more “enormous stalagmites.” They reach up as tall as mountains however, and largely bar the way between the Northern Enclave and the endless Ice Flats beyond.
The Basin
The bottom of the Northern Enclave.
Blissful Valley
The valley in which House Koren sits, Blissful Valley was named ironically, as it is actually quite desolate, being the former location ages ago of a now dormant volcano.
The Descent
The slope downward from Urster Mines to the Basin.
Dire Hills
The Hills north of Blindwelder are home to a number of devious creatures, including more vile duergar. The dwarves claim a section of them but any further north and they risk losing citizens.
The Drow Road
A long road passing through the entire western side of the Basin.
Fort Illwind
A ruined fort, now home to a nagpa.
The Gnashing Rise
Large, jagged rocks that separate Blindwelder Territory from the mind flayers of the south.
The Great Divide
A “bottomless” pit between the three other houses and House Koren. The Divide is really a connection to the labyrinth tunnels of the deep Underdark.
The Gully
A deeper section of the southeast Basin, borders the Salient Sea to the south.
Illithid Territory
Home to mind flayers.
Bhalkannathor
A terrible city south of Old Koren, Bhalkannathor is home to warped entities that ruin all who cross their path.
The Loric Wood
A “dead” wood which is actually the roots of something, sticking out.
The Mushwood
A large mushroom forest.
Salient Sea
The sea south of the enclave stretches on for miles southward, carving the path (via boat or airship) toward the Central Enclave.
