King Sidor Gorontell

The current king of Valwyr. Wood elf, second cousin to Seldayne. 322 years old. Sidor the Usurper. Took the throne and has held it ever since. Kind of a lame duck king, many in Valwyr consider him a false king and would prefer a Carpathan to take the throne instead.

Queen Estella Gorontell

(nee Van Wynden). Half-elf, 42 years old. Married Sidor shortly after he ascended the throne. Very much a trophy wife, she was married to the king to appease the Castelin nobility.

Princess Kolla

Half-elf, 22 years old, reigns over Castelin and lives there permanently. She dislikes her parents and is eager to take over the throne, though she worries she won’t be able to due to Sidor’s age.

Prince Francis

Half-elf, 17 years old, prince of Letora. Lives in Valwyria still. Is set to spend two years with the Valwyran Royal Navy when he turns 18 (next year).

Other royalty/nobility:

Lyriss Sett, Sidor’s head adviser. He is a human, around 50 years old, and very crafty. He was the one who suggested Sidor take over the throne.

Sir Warrock. Human, knight and one of the royal guard. 45ish, graying hair, big barrel chested sort of man.
