Three human Valwyran tourists, lower nobility, on vacation in Ama Shuya. Leandra is the mother, Patrick (who was not met) is the father, Gareth is their son (about 17 years old), and Yerdle is their gnome butler.
Rogue Wave successfully convinced Gareth that he was on a secret mission to find buried treasure in the Storm Sands. Their ship is the Aetherwing, helmed by Erick, who quickly adopts mutiny because he hates Leandra.
Gareth died and then was resurrected, though badly burned. He returned to his family, leery of Rogue Wave, then began pursuing a path of retribution which included becoming a Vengeance Paladin.
