Dwarf Clans

There are hundreds of dwarf clans throughout Avo. These clans tend to congregate into “kingdoms,” with each kingdom ruled by the Orefather/Oremother. Here are a list of the more prominent clans in Avo, along with the names of some VIPs.

Axebreaker

The Axebreaker clan of Akhentour took over guarding the countryside after Alrenn’s forces decimated the population. They erected several outposts across the land and have stationed their headquarters inside Fort Aster. They once lived and operated the city of Aster, before it was collapsed by Alrenn’s forces.

Bucky Axebreaker

Junior Axebreaker. Escorted the Orcslayers to the Lekathor Tram. Cool dude.

Broadstaff

Owner/operator of the Kreven Mines.

Bronzegirdle

Talbert Bronzegirdle See “The Remnants.”

Diamondteeth

Rusty Diamonteeth One of the old fart guardians of the stalactite rest stop on the Lekathor Tram. Is Thaeden’s grand-uncle. Thaedan Diamondteeth Orefather of the kingdom of Augzennet and probably the wealthiest non-dragon entity in Dorian.

Firebrand

Harold Firebrand One of the Ruenat.

Fireshield

Bilden Fireshield Third infantry sergeant at Fort Aster. Arven Fireshield Bilden’s brother. Killed.

Gregor Hammerfall See “Redfang Guild.”

Ironspear

Gergel Ironspear One of the old fart guardians of the stalactite rest stop on the Lekathor Tram.

Loadbearer

Brekon Loadbearer See “Redfang Guild.”
