Dragons are legendary, highly reclusive creatures that inhabit various nooks and crannies in Avo. There are very few reports of people interacting with dragons, aside from the most well known, nigh-mythical tales, like Oolariet the Eloquent, a gold dragon who long ago held grand philosophical debates on the hillside of Keresia (now modern day Anor). Dragons in modern day tend to only appear when they require something, like food or assistance, or when they desire tribute, as many of the chromatic dragons do.
Cymfealt
[edit | edit source]Young XXX dragon, child of Sovarunna.
Galonar
[edit | edit source]Green dragon, brother to Krybiir, the two dragons in Alrenn’s employ. Was killed at the Battle of Garrod, then arose as a zombie dragon by Alrenn’s lieutenant. Currently wanders the Deadwood with the undead hordes there.
Ghamanbrash, the Collector
[edit | edit source]Ghamanbrash was an ancient red dragon who lived in the Green Mountains of Rhonsoan in Deneshae. Specifically lived in a mountain known as the Crimson Waste, a semi-active, but mostly dormant volcano. Was tasked long ago by Tiamat herself to patrol the southwestern stretch of the Great Fog and destroy any who were able to pass the first barrier. Ghamanbrash prided herself on collecting treasure from the ships she sinks, and was said to have a hoard of gold, jewels, and magical items to rival Vysavith herself.
Was put to sleep by Imaeatin shortly after the Great Fog was lifted, but was then subsequently awoken by the Dragonslayers, who killed her in 4085 VR.
Estellarax
[edit | edit source]Silver dragon, chained inside the Halls of Gleaming Splendor.
Krybiir
[edit | edit source]Black dragon, brother to Galonar. Escaped to the south after Galonar’s death. Lived in the mountains north of Southbrook, grew old and fat, and demanded tributes by the townsfolk. Was killed by The Hand 20 years after the Battle of Garrod, during the Melting of Old Southbrook.
Sovarunna
[edit | edit source]Bronze(?) dragon.
Tymaltia
[edit | edit source]Brass dragon, lives with the metallic dragonborn of the Unsullied Stone Monastery in the Clay Fields. Was once the champion of Sqeatu the Brass Titan, but left after disagreeing with the titan’s ferocity.
Yuselaur, the Fog Dweller
[edit | edit source]Adult black dragon that lives in the Fog in southeast Phynsia. Known for breeding with orcs to make half-dragon henchmen. Her henchmen often dip into cities around Phynsia to steal treasure for their mother. Her physical home is unknown.
Irg, Gork, Lepp, Firg, Oog
[edit | edit source]Some of Yuselaur’s half-dragon children. Stole the prizes (along with a bunch of other stuff) for Yuselaur.
Dragon, Prismatic
[edit | edit source]Prismatic dragons are multicolored fey dragons who embody the chaos and passion of the Feywild. They fly in erratic paths and their breath weapon is the prismatic spray spell. They have no direct connection to Bahamut, Sardior, or Tiamat, and may have been created or mutated from normal dragons by a member of the Seelie or Unseelie Court.
Dragon, Zombie
[edit | edit source]Zombie dragons are dead dragons animated into life by a powerful being. Whatever breath weapon they had is now a disgusting poisonous goop they retch onto their enemies. They have no intelligence and, like normal zombies, an insatiable desire to consume living flesh.
