A region of western Isoasar, located across the Porcelain Mountains. Due to its natural mountainous boundary, Katalpa remained primitive even for the inhabitants of Deneshae. After the Great Fog fell, Katalpa became a refuge for people who were able to escape Alrenn’s destruction of nearby Teveren. It is a mostly boreal and temperate rainforest, with the slightly warmer Lionheart Jungle to the south. Within Lionheart lies the Tree of Silver Strings.
