The Valwyran Charter established the Valwyr Reckoning calendar, which was further codified over the next 100 years to correct for inaccuracies, resulting in the calendar we know today, which is very precise and accurate and good. Each land has their own reckoning, which begins when the Storybearers arrived; thus some calendars “backtrack” due to cultures there having their own writing or history-recording means. Also, each land tends to make their own “eras,” starting the numbering over to separate significant times. This however does not affect the calendar as a whole.
