Avo is a world within the Material Plane. It has had many names in many places, but Avo is the one that stuck, like due to the Valwyran King Farack Talkeimmi, who took a liking to Dorian’s Lotus cosmology and the idea that our world is a dead god. The world in recorded history has existed for over 4,000 years thanks to the Storybearers, with an additional 1,500 years or so of unrecorded history prior, usually told as oral narratives by the elves. The earliest story from the elves is of the Great War, when they marched across the planes and eventually landed in the Material Plane.
Avo has 4 major continents: Valwyr, Kalempha, Dorian, and Deneshae. In addition, it has a vast archipelago of islands stretching from Kalempha to southern Deneshae known collectively as Yonavi Islands. Kalempha is often denoted as two separate subcontinents: Iro to the east, and Leophynsia (or just Phynsia) to the west. Similarly, Deneshae is split between Isoasar in the north, and Deneshae in the south.
