=== The Bronze Age ===
1: The Storybearers are founded in Valwyria. Recorded history begins with the signing of the Accord (the precursor to the Valwyran Charter).

310: [Iro] First sightings of the Elves. Storybearers make it through the Shipwreck Islands, land on Irolean shores and make first contact.

312: [Iro] The Elves march into Kokator, the Great City. They wear advanced armor and carry weapons unseen by the Thousand Tribes until now. They take over Kokator and the surrounding cities with ease. Weyslynd, the leader of the Elves, announces the First Empire and crowns himself Emperor of Iro.

312-336: [Iro] A tumultuous time, during which the Elves conquer all of Iro and enslave most of the Tribes. Having never had to go to war before, the Tribes are slaughtered and the Elves reign supreme for over a thousand years.

340: [Val] The Bearers receive new funding and send a dingy ship eastward, around the eastern bend. Their ship sinks somewhere there.

347: [Val] Two Bearer ships are sent east. They arrive in the northeast corner of what is now Biryellen in Iro. They are expecting more ships, but they never come, as political stuff is going on in Valwyr.

350-354: [Val] The War of the Wild Men. Essentially a free-for-all war between various human settlements in Valwyr after King Aexhebl is assassinated and a variety of people attempt to assume the throne.

354: [Val] The Red King, Uaeicar, steals the throne. Uaeicar is very "anti-history" and has the Bearers banished and/or hung.

359: [Val] The Usurper's War. The tribes of Anor band together and take over Valwyr Castle, deposing Uaeicar and disemboweling him. Brann, the nephew of King Axhbel, assumes the throne.

360: [Val] Brann sends 10 ships to Biryellen; his love Castel is one of the Bearers there. However, due to poor weather and no records, they get lost very quickly and spend a full year on Arrow Island.

361: [Val] Then the crew sails westward, eventually reaching the Deneshae Fog, which turns them back eastward without them even knowing it.

365: [Iro] The Lost Expedition discovers the Shipwreck Islands and the dozens of ships, including Castel's ship, rotted among the wreckage. The crew is not to be found, but the crew does manage to contact natives there, who give them a proper pathway through the islands or around them.

368: [Iro] Brann's crew returns to Valwyr with nothing. Brann is furious and has them all exiled to the island. Brann, despite being legendary, is not a fan of the Bearers and defunds them.

371: [Iro] The exiles return to Biryellen and begin combing the land for the old crew.

376: [Val] Brann names the island west of Valwyr Castelin, after his lost love.

379: [Val] Brann dies, his son Bennot takes the throne. Bennot downgrades the Bearers, having them focus on Valwyr, with no excursions planned.

410: [Val] Queen Estel sends the Bearers eastward.

414: [Yon] A storm knocks the Bearers off course, and they crash land on Sutto, one of the western Yonavi islands.

456: [Val] The Valwyan Charter is written.

=== The Age of Magic ===
781: [Val] King Ulest, the Mage King is crowned, after discovering and harnessing the power of fire through the Weave.

826: [Dor] Storybearers establish a camp in Kalthexes in Morentar. The first recorded event: the Dance of the Twelve Kittens, a tabaxi coming-of-age tradition. The Dancer is future King Sits-On-Moonrise. Backdated as the beginning of the 1st Era.

929: [Dor] Storybearers reach the southern shores of Teveren.

986: [Val] King Farack Talkeimmi travels to Morentar to meet the tabaxi people.

1191: [Iro] The Child visits the Prophet and announces the return of Covoran the Builder, who is bringing the Old Gods with him.

1207: [Iro] Covoran descends from the sky with the Father, the Mother, and the Trickster, taking refuge behind the Spine (west of Iro, in other words). The journey has greatly weakened Covoran, and he is thought to have died shortly after arriving. To 906: The Old Gods, through various messengers, establish contact with the Old Tribes. Worship of the Old Gods blossoms quickly.

1215-1221: [Iro] The Great War. Armed with divine magic and new knowledge of weapons, armor, and war tactics, the remnants of the Old Tribes band together and battle the Elves. The war is bloody and difficult, and the Tribes nearly lose until the Father Himself descends from Heaven to help guide the battle. (Note: Covoran is often said to be the Father, but that doesn’t fit with the legends and the weird descriptions of the Old Gods. If he is not the Father, then he never returned; only the Old Gods did.) The Elves are routed and surrender at Ironrock in 1221.

1222: [Iro] The Child takes the Throne at Kokator (now known as the Godsthrone) and imbues it with divine power. “Whoever sits in this throne shall reign as our Right Hand,” they say, before departing for Heaven. The Prophet, Salo the Great, takes the throne, and the Divine Lineage is created.

1223: [Iro] Second Era of Iro Begins. The Old Gods Rise. The Treaty of Ironrock. The Elves basically prostrate themselves to Salo and beg forgiveness. Salo agrees but banishes them to the fetid swamps of the north, saying that they can return when they’ve “atoned” for their sins.

1223-1227: [Iro] The land of Iro is split into two large countries: Yoren to the south, and Valden to the north. Valden is the land of the Elves and special sanctions are given to Elves to traverse into Yoren. However, the treaty essentially makes Valden a “pseudo-province” of Yoren, stripping the country of many rights that it would have, were it its own sovereign nation.

1245: [Iro] Fort Marcourt is founded.

1468: [Dor] The 2nd Era of Dorian Begins: The Rise of the Tabaxi.

2029: [Iro] Covoran, Atren, and Gamaver are exiled to the Far Realm. Neren eats the divine essence and becomes a pseudo-god. The titans attack and droplets of divine essence fall from Neren's lips, collected by the titan Wrenekar/Yuu and hidden away for a millennium.

2108: [Dor] The Circle of the Land druids at the Wodesville crystal are defeated by a powerful magic force, likely Ikonavoa, the Storm King.

2301: [Dor] The 3rd Era of Dorian Begins: The Era of 1000 Kings.

2343: The Wizarding Wars brings about the Catastrophe.

2457: [Dorian] Alectrius Dorian is born.

2668: [Dorian] 4th Era: Alectrius founds Dorian Empire.

2674: [Dorian] Alectrius Dorian commissions the Priory of the Sun God to "clean up" Teveren. This begins the Crusades.

2724: [Dorian] Aristellen Tinavoi is born.

2903: [Dorian] The Priory of the Sun God send templars to Salacremetre to eradicate the yuan-ti there.

2925: [Dorian] Alectrius Dorian is assassinated.

2931: [Dorian] The Kavonne League of Adventurers is founded.

2999: [Dorian] Eggleston is born.

3042: [Iro] Alric Metselaar is born

3049: [Dorian] The Tricameral Parliament is founded in Kavonne.

3058: [Iro] Alric finds the divine drops and takes them to Prychuk, where he begins amassing a cult dedicated to the Grandfather.

3084: [Dorian] Genevellen Tinavoi is born.

3096: [Dorian] 14th Crusade.

3122: [Dorian] Novius Dorian is born.

3131: [Dorian] Sodera Tinavoi is born.

3151: [Dorian] Landallyn Tinavoi is born.

3157: [Dorian] Brycella Dorian is born.

3162: [Dorian] Erlighein Dorian is born.

3171: [Dorian] The 15th Crusade, the Sun Crusade.

3175: [Dorian] Kalistor Dorian is assassinated by Freelanders; his first son, Urmenator, takes the throne.

3193: [Dorian] Eggleston and Novius Dorian meet.

3209: [Dorian] Eggleston begins construction on the Halls of Gleaming Splendor.

3210: [Dorian] Novius leaves Avo to assist with the Halls' construction.

3233: [Iro] Gamavër the Destroyer arrives from the Cold Depths (the Far Realm) with an army of 100,000 demons. He ascends to Heaven and attacks the Old Gods. The battle rages on as a giant storm over the Spine for nearly a century.

3258: [Astral Sea] Eggleston completes the Halls of Gleaming Splendor.

3259: [Astral Sea] Novius Dorian arrives at the Halls.

3262: [Dorian/Astral Sea] Novius Dorian is the first to complete the Halls.

3265: [Dorian] The Gate Scheme.

3275: [Dorian] The fall of the Dorian Empire. Urmenator is killed by his son Erlighein; the tabaxi kick Brycella out of Morentar and she escapes to the Isles; and Novius goes missing.

3276: [Dorian] Beginning of 5th Era.

3278: [Dorian] Novius obtains the Book of Lichdom from the tomb beneath Aster.

3281: [Dorian] The Dorian Council convenes, splits the former empire into its three component parts.

3286: [Dorian] Eggleston's son, Eggleston Jr, "completes" the Halls of Gleaming Splendor.

3289: [Dorian] Crystaltown is renamed Wodesville. Berderem is renamed Garrod.

3294: [Dorian] Brycella returns to Morentar in an attempt to reclaim the Empire with a handful of Imperialists. She is easily defeated by the tabaxi, who kill her and display her body in the port of Ixthetlan, with a sign beneath: "STAY AWAY STUPID ELVES"

3325-3330: [Iro] The World War. Gamavër falls to Iro, crashing into the Spine with an enormous explosion. He becomes embedded into the mountains but still wreaks havoc upon the countryside, sending demons across Iro and secretly goading the Elves of Valden to enter into Yoren and attempt to overthrow the country. The elves form an unholy alliance with Gamavër’s demon army and march on Yoren (this is how tieflings came about, by the way). The Yorenns receive support from a family of metallic dragons who had been pushed out of their mountain homes by Gamavër’s body. The war is short and extremely bloody; historians estimate at least 1/3rd of the population of Iro died in the chaos and carnage.

3328: [Iro] Prychuk is sacked by elven forces led by demons from Gamavër's army. The divine drops are lost and presumed stolen by the demons.

3330: [Iro] A band of adventurers manages to kill Gamavër and stop the outpouring of monsters and creatures into Iro.

3331: [Iro] Third Era of Iro Begins: The Republic is Born. The end of the World War; Gamavër, the Titan, is finally slain. The demons retreat to whatever hell they came from, and the political turmoil Gamavër created between the two warring countries of Yoren and Valden is ended. Yoren “wins” and King Hegret II is crowned in Violet Hall of Ironrock. Hegret is a half-elf and an elven sympathizer of sorts, and so Valden is given full sovereign independence in exchange for giving up its military—it essentially becomes the largest province of Yoren, but independent as well. The elven “mafia” is dissolved until it can barely function.

3333: [Iro] Hegret II appoints a Council of Lords, 100 men and women from across Yoren and Valden, to serve as adjudicators in law and justice. These men and women are voted on by the public. Thus The Great Republic is born. The Republic becomes the foundation of politics in Iro for thousands of years.

3338: [Iro] The Padoran prophet Datorya receives the Vision.

3344: [Iro] Datorya’s prophecy comes true: a winged Messenger named Tavot descends and speaks the Wisdom of Padora to a small group in Avedenshire, forming the basis of the Padoran faith in Iro.

3346: [Iro] Prince Locane visits Avedenshire and spends the next five years studying Padorism.

3351: [Iro] Prince Locane returns to Ironrock, now a devout follower of Padora. Padorism spreads like wildfire throughout Yoren over the next 100 years.

3369: [Iro] Marcourt begins its journey into becoming a college town.

3399: [Dorian] Novius, seeking lichdom, requests the Black Hand assist in retrieving items needed to create a phylactery.

3442: [Dorian] Eggleston the gnome wizard dies, alone, of old age.

3471: [Iro] Queen Savosa, meditating underneath her favorite tree, receives her own Vision, of a united Yoren under Padora’s Breath.

3473: [Iro] Queen Savosa adopts Padorism as the dominant religion of Yoren. Worshipers of the Old Gods are exiled to Valden for about six months before the Republic overrides her for the first time in history. Those exiled are not allowed to return, but those who remain in Yoren are given authority to practice their religion freely.

3492-3595: [Iro] Tensions between Padorists and Skallanites ignite into a war which lasts for nearly 100 years.

3547: [Modur] Modur is discovered by Irolean sailors. Various forces in Avo converge upon the island.

3574: [Leophynsia] Covoran the Builder returns to the Crystal City with an army of constructs. The Titan War begins.

3595: [Iro] Peace of Kotakor. Valden is dissolved into city-states and Yoren controls Kotakor. The Valden army is folded into Yoren.

3688: [Iro] Marcourt, the Lost Water incident.

3716: [Iro] The Dead Eye Agency is founded.

3729-3742: [Iro] The Crimson War. Possibly the bloodiest war in Irolean history. Ends with the Blood Peace Accord. Yoren is split into three countries: Kellest, Avra, and the Low Wastes.

3768: [Iro] Krosven ascends to the top of The Knob, the tallest mountain in the Spine, and spies the land to the west. It is colloquially, and then officially, known as the Krosven Steppe.

3770: [Iro] Queen Isobel funds the creation of a pass through a narrow part of the Spine.

3776: [Iro] Xaletex the White Dragon is roused during construction of Krosven Pass. Hundreds of workers are killed. The Serpent Shadows, an adventuring guild from the far south of Valden, manage to kill the dragon. (Lawrence Iturnak, the human fighter, is the father of Henry Iturnak, the paladin of the Lost Four.)

3778: [Leophynsia] Krosven Pass is finished.

3779: [Leophynsia] Fort Harador is founded, the first Yorenn civilization west of the Spine.

3780: [Leophynsia] The three exploring teams are sent out to discover more about the Steppe.

3781: [Leophynsia] The incident at the gnoll camp.

3782: [Leophynsia] The Krosven Steppe expedition stops at Springvale. A trio of heroes leave to seek out the Lost Four, and end up uncovering Edwin Alcaster’s plot to summon Atren the Shaper. They kill Edwin at the Calling, but Atren is summoned regardless, and they are killed.

3784: [Leophynsia] Atren is defeated by the Lost Four.

3919: [Valwyr] Krobb Sunkeeper, Calrissian, Myrtha Blythe, and Atticus Bowbender make their way to Durk.

3921: [Valwyr] Margravine Jaina arrives in Durk with twentyscore of the King’s Army. Their job is to protect Valwyr from Prince Gallean’s army, which is to arrive shortly.

3923: [Valwyr] Prince Gallean of Biryellen arrives with a ginormous army and all but destroys Durk. Many are killed. Our adventurers survive, as does Jaina.

3925: [Valwyr] The Prince returns, killing more, and setting the entire area on fire, before he travels back the way he came for a better route to Valwyria.

3926: [Valwyr] The rogueish halflings hiding in the Lyron Forest move to Durk, turning it into a crime-infested halfling haven. With no halflings to fight them off, nasty monsters begin hiding in the forest. Jaina immediately sends a message to the king about this, and then starts to go insane.

3928: [Valwyr] King Elzyr sends a small troop of guard to build an outpost outside of the forest. Sordin Outpost stands for three days before being nearly destroyed by monsters. It now is a ruin settled by volunteer militia men from Durk and Bycar.

3932: [Valwyr] Krobb et al begin their first mission.

3933: [Valwyr] The Gallean Elves are defeated in Firgsbag.

3934: [Valwyr] The Brightswords are founded. Founding members are Krobb Sunkeeper, Calrissian, Myrtha Blythe, and Atticus Bowbender. Myrtha gives birth to Alceste Blythe.

3935: [Valwyr] Urmenia gives birth to Lando.

3937: [Dorian] Narellyn Ambersole is born.

3940: [Valwyr] Krobb Sunkeeper is killed while adventuring.

3954: [Valwyr] Alceste Blythe marries Millicent Haverdash.

3956: [Valwyr] Millicent Blythe gives birth to Amelia Blythe.

3960: [Dorian] Peggy Redfang is born.

3963: [Dorian] Jayadwen Meliamne is born.

3973: [Dorian] Roderick Havenshield is born.

3975: [Valwyr] Atticus Bowbender dies of old age.

3978: [Valwyr] Caroptyx begins ravaging Dersken and the surrounding countryside. The Brightswords defeat the blue dragon in the heart of the Morkorai Glacier (Note: Lando is the Brightsword leader at this point, and Amelia Blythe is a sorceress). They are never seen again. [Dorian] Aloysius Pridd IV is born.

3979: [Dorian] Alrenn meets the atropal Jarunvandir, makes the pact with it.

3980: [Valwyr] The Attendants dream, receive their letters, and meet Dorias at the Grumbling Pot.

3982: [Valwyr] The End of the False Gods. Having defeated the arch liches, the Ruenat and the Attendants return to Valwyr.

3983: [Modur] Zartax arrives in Modur, digs a big hole in Fallsword, is kicked out. The Modur Adventurers start questing, but are not heard from again.

3984: [Dorian] Zartax arrives in Kavonne, takes Aloysius, then a mere 7 years old, under his wing.

3985: [Deneshae] Zartax lifts the fog around Deneshae and his soul is lost. Storybearers quickly travel to the new land westward via Valwyr. Aloysius IV begins trek back to Kavonne.

3991: [Deneshae] Terquali arrives at Ama Shuya.

3994: [Deneshae] Terquali arrives at Wanashe Island, meets E'thess. They battle, Terquali is feebleminded and taken to the middle of nowhere.

3995: [Deneshae] Terquali comes to her senses and returns to Ama Shuya. [Dorian] Havenshield (adventuring group) is founded.

3999: [Deneshae] Tarax, warlock in service to Baphomet, arrives at the Verdant Coast with a galley of explorers.[Deneshae] The King's Pioneers find the Sepulchre.

4000: [Deneshae] The King's Pioneers find the Sepulchre.

4008: [Modur] Moduri elves regroup to expel the Irolean influence from their island; a peace treaty is signed, and Fallsword becomes the only true Irolean-controlled city in Modur. Modur becomes truly free.

4024: [Dorian] Sacking of Korenna. Roderick is killed.

4026: [Dorian] The Redfang Guild is founded.

4029: [Deneshae] Terquali attempts to retrieve the Crimson Blight from the Cinder, but in doing so, activates the gate which releases a demon. She is unable to retrieve the bow.

4037: [Dorian] Ian van Montelle is born.

4038: [Deneshae] Terquali finally finishes her Circle of Vines gear and begins the trek to Wanashe.

4039: [Deneshae] Terquali arrives at Wanashe again. A fierce battle rages between her and E'thess, but in the end E'thess wins.

4043: [Dorian] Narellyn Ambersole assists the Doomrake, a Redfang party. Sorina Vespar, human cleric from the party, and Narellyn have a long relationship before she is killed. She gives Narellyn her Havenshield badge.

4052: [Valwyr] The Celestial Kingdom arrives above Valwyria.

4055: [Dorian] Alrenn begins his five year devastation of Teveren.

4056: [Dorian] Sorina Vespar is killed by a pit fiend on a mission in Iro. Narellyn is crushed.

4057: [Dorian] Aloysius invents the All-Seeing Eyes. Glendower Brightraven is born.

4059: [Iro] House Hir Zhou discovers the divine drop.

4060: [Dorian] Alrenn crosses the Fangs into Akhentour.

4061: [Dorian] Aloysius' Locked Memory #1. Baby Vanta is found at the Moonlight Orphanage in Kavonne.

4062: [Dorian] Alrenn is defeated in Garrod. Narellyn is killed and reborn in the ruins of Ogoni.

4072: [Valwyr] Rory Helsker IV compiles the most recent world map.

4077: [Dorian] Aloysius' Locked Memory #2. Vanta runs away from the orphanage.

4078: [Dorian] Vanta arrives in Urster, spends time in the woods, and sees a vision of Avo.

4081: [Dorian] Recruitment begins for the Redfang Guild. Dovar arrives.

4082: [Dorian] Dovar and Alrenn 2.0 are defeated? End of the 5th Era. Aloysius' Locked Memory #3.

4083: [Dorian] The 6th Era of Dorian begins with the foundation of the Council of Beings. Aloysius casts Wish to reinvigorate Teveren. [Valwyr] EOD is destroyed/sent back to the Far Realm.

4084: [Dorian] The Urster Rebellion. The Koren Uprising. Peggy Redfang dies of old age.

4085: [Yonavi] Zartax the Wizard is revived in his tower on Honn. [Valwyr] The City of Rogue Wind is founded. Rogue Wave participates in the arcane coliseum in Deva's Rest. Gareth steals the dagger! Shadowfell adventure.

4086: [Dorian] Talia Brightraven Ambersoul van Montelle is born. Talmuq is killed.

4088: [Dorian] Talmuq returns from the Endless Spire as a reborn and eventually regains his humanity via Syntropy. Vanta gives birth to Cormick Rolfe. [Iro] Walter Somiasi casts the wish spell, wishing to be the richest and most powerful person in the world.

4089: [Dorian] Rowan Estella Ambersole is born.

4090: [Dorian] Garrod is officially reopened to the public.

4091: [Dorian] Garrod demands a person on the Council, is granted it. The Triumvirate becomes the Pax Ultima. Baratani arrives with Hule seeking the aid of Glendower. They bring Deathbringer into Avo, destroy it. Warforged are introduced to Avo. Also, Narellyn is revealed and sent to prison. Also also, Petra Narellyn Ambersole van Montelle is born.

4092: [Deneshae] The Pan-Planar Magistrum fleet appears above the Glass Plain (Storm Sands) in Deneshae.

4095: [Deneshae] Orichalcum is discovered in the mountains of Deneshae.

4096: [Deneshae] Numerous factions vie for control of the orichalcum stores. The Treaty of Pathe'a is drafted. [Dorian] The Three Sisters

4097: [Deneshae] The Goddess Tree in Ama Shuya begins to wilt.

4100: [Deneshae] Tensions reach their boiling point over orichalchum and the World War begins.

4104: [Deneshae/Global] The World War ends.

4106: [Dorian] The Three Sisters

4108: [Dorian] The crystal in Wodesville explodes, releasing the tarrasque from its slumber. The Dragonslayers defeat it!

4111: [Dorian] Narellyn is released from prison. Morgana Brightraven dies of old age.

4133: [Dorian] Ian van Montelle dies of old age.

4161: [Dorian] Vanta dies of old age.

4215: [Iro] Hir Zhou attempts the ceremony to give the Raven Queen the divine drop.

4265: [Global] Uredon and Sqeatu return to Avo and begin searching for the divine drops.

4271: [Iro] A group of villagers in Bludeck investigate a troll cave, and are all massacred. The Onion Cave Avengers discovers the Box beneath the cave. Gather the divine drops and defeat(?) the titans to postpone the Divine Wrath.

4487: [Global] The Divine Wrath.
