The firenewts injured heavily it before it managed to escape, taking refuge in the hole on Dan’s farmland, and using its telepathic powers to draw in individuals in an attempt to eat their brains and regain its health. We destroyed the mindflayer, but now we are concerned about the newts and would like you to descend into the firenewt lair and get rid of them. For this, we will pay you 50gp, each, and will not take a cut. However, we will take 30% of any gold you acquire in the lair.<br /> <br /> “If you do not want to take this challenge, we will post it to the job board.
