A spelljammer is a ship capable of flight between worlds in the Material Plane. It is a magically-enhanced ship, much like an airship, except that it is outfitted for long distance travel and can bypass the celestial spheres of a world. Pre-Wrath, the space between worlds was empty and lonely, but post-Wrath the Astral Sea has “leaked” into the Material Plane, taking over the space between worlds. == Scuttle == Scuttle is a spelljammer retrieved by the Lost Ones, from the manor of a long deceased gnome mage named Boris in Castelin. Boris was one of the peasants who helped the Ruenat escape from petrification. The ship is designed to appear as a cuttlefish, likely after Boris’ favorite familiar, a cuttlefish he named Squirt. It’s unsure if Boris built the jammer himself or had it created; in any case it appears that Boris never actually used it, letting it sit in his garage until the Lost Ones found it. Thus it was in very poor condition, though Anya was able to get it running. The Lost Ones used it to reach the Rift in the Sky and seal it with a magic bomb. Scuttle has the following abilities: * Can pass through the celestial spheres and travel to different worlds in the Material Plane. * Can track any object or person known to the pilot on the same plane. (Locate Creature or Object; kind of like the dragonball radar.) * Can likely travel between planes.
