== Powers & Abilities == In the Far Realm, EOD's abilities are limitless. He can manipulate the world and the beings within it to an absolute degree, much like the gods on the Outer Planes. He can manipulate physics, geography, and elements in such a way that it becomes incomprehensible to a person from the Material Plane, and even to celestial beings. In fact, spending too much time in the Far Realm can induce a form of madness, known simply as [[The Madness]] or EOD's Will, in which the incomprehensibility of the realm itself degrades a being's mental capacity so much that they begin to take on features of the realm, eventually dis-incorporating as a normal being entirely and becoming "one with the realm." Inversely, EOD has virtually no power within the Material Plane unless he is connected to his Parts. In some instances, he is completely unable to infiltrate a world at all, due to numerous reasons, such as the magical affinity of the world, its resilience against planar rifts, the general resolve of the populace there, and the connection of the world to its patron deity or deities. Worlds which are lacking in one or more of those things tend to be accessible by EOD, in which case he is limited to very narrow telepathy with certain beings which he chooses for reasons unknown. Similarly, once EOD has consumed a world, he cannot move to another one through the Material Plane. It seems that he lacks the ability to travel on his own in the Material Plane. Thus, occasionally travelers may stumble upon an EOD-consumed world, which resembles a planet-sized ball of writhing flesh, eyes, and tentacles.
