Editing The Sundering

Long before recorded time, when the world was still cooling, the [[Beings of Avo#Sar (or Dragonborn)|sar]] were much wider spread, living from [[Phynsia]] all the way to northern [[Deneshae]]. The sar were created by three great dragon deities: Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon; Sardio, the Gemstone Dragon; and Tiamat, the Chromatic Dragon. These dragons created the sar out of their own image, and with their own desires; because of this, the sar quickly fell to in-fighting as soon as they came into existence. This fighting became a long war which stretched across the world, as Tiamat’s minions crossed [[Yonavi]] to wipe out the metallic dragonborn. In return, the metallic sar asked Bahamut to destroy the chromatic sar; Bahamut refused and so the metallic dragonborn were forced to cross Yonavi to attack the chromatic sar in [[Khaosar]]. When they arrived, they discovered they were entering an ambush in which Tiamat leveled the entire northern sands of Khaosar into the black [[Obsidian Sea]] we know today. Most of the [[Isoasar]] were killed, save for the clergy that remained loyal to Bahamut and within Isoasar; however, most of the Khaosar were killed as well, resulting in the chromatic dragonborn turning their backs against Tiamat until 1105 VR, when worship began anew. The Yonasar wished to remain neutral, and in the end Sardio sundered Yonavi into the islands we see today, completely separating Phynsia from Deneshae. Meanwhile, Bahamut used his breath weapons to obscure Deneshae entirely with an illusory fog that was extremely cold, causing ships to turn away or their inhabitants to freeze to death. This fog, the [[Great Fog]], remained until the wizard [[Zartax]] lifted it in the late 81st century.
